Vacancy as Vehicle Handover Specialist

We are looking for a communicative colleague (male or female) with a passion for Namibia and 4×4 driving, to show clients all there is to know about their 4wd rental vehicle.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Vehicle handovers: ensuring existing damages are noted, welcoming clients, explaining the Ts&Cs of the contract and road conditions to them, as well as correct driving behaviour, explain and demonstrate vehicle and any additional equipment e.g. fridge or camping if selected.
  • Vehicle returns – inspect car and equipment together with customers on return, note and charge any new damages, record customer feedback and pass on to team, see clients off.
  • Assist with final preparation of vehicles before the clients arrive to ensure consistent quality.
  • Assist with other activities – depending on workload and competences

    Reliability and attention to detail come naturally to you – especially when it comes to vehicle checks, handover protocols, or other important information you communicate to customers.
  • Valid driver’s license and 4×4 driving experience
    To confidently explain how to handle a 4×4 vehicle to customers, you should ideally be a passionate driver yourself and have experience in off-road driving.
  • English and foreign language if possible
    You can communicate well in English and enjoy sharing your knowledge with customers. Apart from professional English skills you ideally speak another foreign language such as German, French, Spanish, Italian or similar.
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills
    You are confident working with checklists, forms, and digital tools, and you manage tasks in a structured and efficient way – ensuring that everything runs smoothly and nothing gets overlooked.
  • Team player and flexible
    You enjoy working with others, are hands-on, and adapt quickly to new situations or changing daily routines.
  • Willing to work on some weekends
    You’re available to work 1 to 2 weekends per month, on a rotating basis with the rest of the team, depending on scheduled vehicle handovers or returns.

Work place and times

We look forward to having you on-site in our office in Windhoek,  (Southern Industrial).
Full-time employment: Monday to Friday roughly 08:00-17:00. Weekend work as required, depending on whether or not handovers and returns are due.

Minimum requirements

  • Grade 12 certificate
  • Tertiary education beneficial
  • minimum 2 years experience in customer service (with direct customer contact)
