Vacancy as Customer Service Specialist

We are looking for a communicative colleague (male or female) with a special passion for Namibia, to support our team in welcoming and instructing clients.

  • confident and enjoy working with people
  • professional English (speech and writing)
  • good administrative and organisational skills
  • detail-orientated and observant
  • valid driver’s license and driving experience (preferably 4×4 as well)
  • responsible and trustworthy
  • team player
  • understanding German, French, Spanish or other foreign language is helpful but not compulsory
  • experience with travelling across Namibia and beyond (to share stories and insights of your 1st-hand experiences with clients) is helpful but not compulsory

Core Responsibilities

  • Vehicle handovers: this starts at preparing the vehicle rental contract and making sure all information is correct and existing damages are noted. Then welcoming the arriving clients, explaining the Ts&Cs of the contract and road conditions to them, as well as correct driving behaviour, explain and demonstrate vehicle and any additional equipment e.g. fridge or camping if selected.
  • Vehicle returns – inspect car and equipment together with customers on return, note and charge any new damages, record customer feedback and pass on to team, see clients off.
  • Assisting with preparation of the vehicles where necessary before the clients arrive to ensure consistent quality.
  • Assisting with other activities – depending on workload and competences

Work place and times

Full-time employment: Monday to Friday roughly 08:00-17:00. Weekend work as required, depending on whether or not handovers and returns are due.
On site in our office in Windhoek,  (Southern Industrial).

Minimum requirements

  • Grade 12 certificate
  • Tertiary education beneficial
  • minimum 2 years experience in customer service (with direct customer contact)
