While Namibia’s main “rainy season” runs roughly from December-February, there’s really no need to worry about the rain. Showers are usually brief and refreshing, quickly giving way to sunshine again. Rainfall is generally sporadic, with days or even weeks passing without a single drop. In fact, many regions hardly see rain at all. It’s mostly the central and northern parts of the country that enjoy the occasional cooling shower, while the south and the coastline remain virtually untouched by rain clouds.
