In April 2025 Namibia updated its visa regulations. Many visitors who did not require a visa in the past, now need a visa.
Some visitors to Namibia do not require a visa for stays of up to 90 days for tourism purposes but travelers from the following countries require a visa to be able to enter Namibia:

• NAD 1 600 (roughly USD 90) for citizens from non-African countries
• NAD 1 200 (roughly USD 70) for citizens from African Countries

When travelling with children that are under 18 years old, in addition to the childs passport you have to present border officials with the following:
- Child’s ORIGINAL birth certificate
- Parental consent letter from the parent that is NOT accompanying the child when travelling with minors without one or both parent
- Visa (all travellers who are not from visa-exempt countries require a visa, regardless of age)
